2007 Big-3 Swap Meet
Qualcomm

Writing and Photos courtesy Reid Carroll:

The Buick Club of America had a front row presence on February 24th & 25th in what is arguably one of the largest automotive swap meets in the Western Region of the United States. Over 3 thousand vendors and 10's of thousands of spectators attend the annual event that takes place during the last weekend of February.

San Diego board member Fred Young provided a large tent, tables & chairs along with past editions of the Bugle to hand out to prospective new members during the two day meet on the vast parking lot at Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego.

San Diego Chapter Director Lee Carroll rented 10 spaces to display Buicks and enlist new members from the attendees. The response was gratifying with many people stopping to admire the cars and get information about BCA activities & the benefits of being a member.

Those in attendance included BCA local members, Brian Palhegyi who brought his 1973 Century coupe and his 1976 Century station wagon, David Aspinall with his 1970 GSX coupe, and Robert Starkey with his one owner original 1967 Buick Riviera.
